What's your road riding pleasure? Specialized's Allez DSW Elite is the bike no matter your riding style, from club rides to crits, to epic, charity ride days in the saddle. D'Alusio Smartweld Technology stiffens key points of the aluminum frame and provides compliance in others, resulting in a ride that's quick to accelerate and smooth over less than perfect pavement. Quick-rolling Axis Classic wheels are paired with Specialized tires for a setup that flies on the flats and carves up every corner. Shifting is a snap thanks to Shimano's 2x10 Tiagra drivetrain, a wide-range, fast-responding setup that's sure to please. And the Body Geometry components and saddle? the price is right.not expensive or have to baby it if I bought high end model $$$$
I could not imagine a better first road bike. Very easy to handle, and by having the bike fitted, it has been comfortable for longer rides. I use the bike for distances between 10-40 miles most times, and this year completed my first century. I have about 1,500 miles on the bike in the first year, with no issues. I am a larger rider (6'3", 220), and this bike has held up very well.
