Details
Specialized's S-Works Turbo sets the standard for how a performance road tire should perform. Fast, light, and supple, the Turbo exceeds the demands of competitive road riders. Extremely low rolling resistance and superior cornering traction lets you climb easily, descend quickly, and corner aggressively.

BlackBelt is Specialized's most efficient and dynamic puncture protection for their fastest tires. A strip of tightly cross-woven material (see image, red) is tucked directly under the tread, providing ultra-tough puncture and cut resistance. This lightweight barrier protects against glass, nails, or whatever else the road throws in your way, and is highly flexible to keep rolling resistance low.
The high thread-per-inch casing let this tire conform to the road/trail for superior cornering and comfort.

Aside from one pinch flat early on, I got a good 1400 miles out of these before they became glass magnets and flatted constantly. Probably a better race tire than a daily grinder, but easy to change. I switched to Michelin Pro Service Course, a bit more rubbery and hopefully will last a bit longer.

I got this tire because my wife had them on her new s-works ruby. She raved how smooth her ride was,and it made her faster on descents, cornering and on sprints. I tried it and WOW,now I can keep up with her.The only downside is they wear quicker.

2k + miles on these tires and I like them more every day! My LBS turned me onto these beauties, they swear by them to give your bike the most performance for the least amount of cost. Were they ever right! They wear like iron, but still have an incredible grip- especially in the wet. By combining these tires with Turbo tubes, I knocked off almost 1 1/2 lbs off my bike! Incredible!
